Grate half of the cheese and sprinkle it over the vegetables

Put the heavy cream and minced garlic in a small saucepan

Set it over medium-low heat and stir it around a few times

Spread the hot cream mixture out over the vegetables

Add pepper and salt

Put foil over the baking dish and bake for 40 minutes

Open the oven door, add the rest of the cheese, and then close the door again

For another 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the vegetables are soft, bake the dish

Before you serve it, let it cool down for a while

Buccatini with Squid & Bacon

Return the cooked bacon to the skillet, along with the cooked buccatini

Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley
